An (Underwater) Room With a View

And oh what a view it was!  When we were in the Cayman Islands a couple of weeks ago, we had a ride on a "semi-submersible." That's a fancy term for a regular ship with a deep hull and large windows below deck.  The view makes the ocean seem like a big fish tank or, better yet, your own personal aquarium.  It's like snorkeling without getting wet, having water up your nose, or having to douse yourself with sunscreen.  That's what I call a win-win all around.

At first when we set out, there were no fish.

And then there was one.  One fish.

Two fish -- and two random fins.

Three fish.

And then there was a whole bumch of fish.

Man, once this scuba guy came along and large amounts of food were introduced, there was a crazy fish-flash mob.  I guess they all got the same fishy text at the same fishy time!

A feeding frenzy!

And then lunch was over.  It was time to head home and take a post-gorge siesta.

As Dr. Seuss would say, "From there to here, from here to there, funny things are everywhere."
